About me
My work is deeply informed by both clinical training and lived experience - as a parent to a child with autism and ADHD. This personal perspective drives my passion for supporting families and helping children lead happier, more fulfilling lives - especially within education.
A standout moment in my career was achieving my prescribing qualification, which has allowed me to take a more active role in shaping treatment plans and improving access to timely support.
I stay connected to the latest in ADHD care through ongoing engagement with my local training hub, and by regularly reviewing recent research and ongoing studies to ensure I’m offering evidence-based, up-to-date care.
For me, the most rewarding part of this job is patient satisfaction. There’s nothing more powerful than hearing from a family that their life - or their child’s life - has changed for the better as a result of the support they’ve received.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time as a mum to two beautiful children, which is both my greatest joy and my biggest motivation. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, shopping, and going to the theatre whenever I can.
Having personally experienced the frustration and emotional toll of navigating the diagnostic process for my son, I’m determined to be the practitioner I once needed - someone who listens, understands, and fights to make things easier for other families.
