About me

I am a mental health nurse with 18 years of experience, specialising in ADHD for the past 13 years. As a prescriber for the last decade, I offer comprehensive care to both children and adults.

My special interest within the ADHD field revolves around holistic family work and evidence-based medication optimisation, grounded in the latest research. I am committed to supporting families as a whole and ensuring that treatment approaches are grounded in the latest research.

As a committee member for the updated NICE Guidelines, I actively contribute to shaping ADHD healthcare practices. I have had the privilege of speaking at national and international conferences, sharing insights on NICE Guidelines and ADHD treatment. It is through these platforms that I strive to disseminate knowledge and advocate for the best possible care.

A significant career highlight for me is being a founding member of ADHD360, working alongside Lisa and Phil to make a positive impact in the field.

I actively participate in wider training opportunities, including attending conferences such as APA and Congress, to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

The best part of my job is the ability to change lives. I find immense satisfaction in improving the lives of families, helping individuals reach their full potential, and ensuring that they feel truly heard and understood.

Outside of work, I am a proud mother of two active boys. I enjoy playing the piano and I am constantly exploring new and exciting connections between ADHD and other conditions. For me, it is not just a job for me; it is a passion that extends to every aspect of my life.
