About me

As a registered adult nurse, I’ve transitioned into ADHD care and already gained hands-on experience supporting patients with a range of needs. I’m continuing to deepen my understanding of the condition and how it intersects with other areas of mental health. I’m especially interested in exploring which aspects of ADHD care I feel most drawn to as I grow within this field.

One of the most memorable moments in my nursing career was assisting in the delivery of a baby during a snowstorm in 2010, when our team was snowed in. It was a powerful reminder of the resilience healthcare often demands and the privilege of being present for life’s most meaningful moments.

The most rewarding part of my job is knowing I’ve made a difference, even in small ways - it’s what motivates me every day.

I’m a proud member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and bring with me a strong foundation in general nursing that continues to shape how I support patients in this new area.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about horses - I care for three of my own, and my husband has one too. Horses bring a sense of calm, focus, and joy to my life, and they’re a big part of what keeps me grounded.
