About me

ADHD Advanced Practitioner | Psychotherapeutic Counsellor | ADHD, Life and Wellbeing Coach.

Since establishing my therapeutic practice in 2017 I have developed a comprehensive approach to supporting adults with ADHD that addresses both the behavioural and emotional aspects of the condition. As an ADHD Advanced Practitioner, I combine specialist knowledge of ADHD with a deep understanding of how it intersects with daily life, relationships, and personal goals.

My own journey through late diagnosis and titration onto medication enables me to support clients who are navigating similar challenges in an empathetic way - I understand firsthand the complexities of living with unrecognised ADHD and the profound impact that late diagnosis can have.

My experience as an Accredited Psychotherapeutic Counsellor allows me to work therapeutically with the emotional challenges that often accompany ADHD. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or past experiences of misunderstanding and criticism, I can provide a safe space to process these feelings and develop healthier patterns of thinking and relating.

My training as a Dialectical Behavioural Therapist is particularly valuable for individuals with ADHD who experience emotional dysregulation, impulsivity, or interpersonal challenges. DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation can be transformative for managing the intense emotions and reactive patterns that many people with ADHD experience.

As an ADHD, Life and Wellbeing Coach I help clients translate understanding into action. I work collaboratively to develop practical strategies for organisation, time management, productivity, and goal-setting that work with, rather than against, the ADHD brain. My Coach training from the Institute of Leadership and Management further equips me to support professionals navigating workplace challenges, career transitions, and leadership roles while managing their ADHD.

Understanding that ADHD rarely exists in isolation, I have also completed certification in Understanding Autism, enabling me to recognise and support clients who may have co-occurring neurodevelopmental differences - AuDHD

Bringing all of these skills together allows me to tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges, celebrate their strengths, and develop practical coping strategies. My combination of therapeutic expertise and coaching skills enables me to address both the emotional wounds of living undiagnosed or misunderstood, and the practical realities of managing ADHD in work, relationships, and personal wellbeing.

Whether you're newly diagnosed and trying to make sense of your ADHD, struggling with long-standing challenges, or simply wanting to optimise how you work with your neurodivergent brain, I offer empathetic support grounded in both professional excellence and personal understanding.
